The Art & AI

Do you use AI generated art in your project?
We have had this question in a number of twitter spaces recently and so wanted to record our responses for complete transparency.
AI generated art is used to form the baseline of our NFTs.
None of our art work is a generic AI piece and all final art has been layered through post production by means of composting, AI, illustration and real world objects.
Our creative department spends a great deal of time, planning, customising, layering and specifically introducing elements that compliment our project's historical narrative, combined with our project's continuous forward looking narrative.
AI generated content works only as a support system and isn’t separate from the human touch and creativity. While it is an essential part, is only one aspect of a number of moving components that are needed for a project to deliver quality and value.
In order to bootstrap our Project in a sustainable manner it has been an active decision to take this route as a point of departure. This decision is based on the fact that there is considerably less upfront direct creative input needed to derive a baseline and so our creative efforts and energy can be focused on delivering the experience, and in the customisation process, to fit the project's long term vision. Our project as a whole is able to operate with fewer heads while keeping a high level of productivity and so lowering the cost base.
The direct result is that we can pass this value on to our community without the need to take in additional support (external or financial) while still producing higher quality with lower prices during the bear market cycle. A channel in our discord has been specifically setup to give greater insight into the creative process but without giving away all of our trade secrets.
Any questions on this are always welcomed.
